OUAN502 - Pitch Perfect, Presenting Pixel Pocket

Before the presentation we agreed as a group that we would try to make the delivery of the studio concept flow much like a conversation. Going back and forth, but also make it so as individuals we take the lead on the areas of the project that we were responsible for. Presenting in such a big group made it easier as everyone brought their own views on how things have gone so far to the discussion. I was mostly responsible for talking about our finances, the website and showreel of our group. Aside from this I tried to contribute to other areas such as how we picked the studio location. This was fairly easy and was made possible by the way we have all been involved in all areas of the project throughout the duration. We chose to break down our presentation into the core areas of the business as if we were pitching to someone who knew nothing about us. We spoke about who we are, where we're based and then talked about the finances that we've worked out, social media, the promo back we provide before directing to our website and demonstrating the showreel. The logo wasn't that well recieved and could be improved but a positive about this was that it was used across all of our promotional material. However as a group we were told that our research and the thought behind the brand was quite good. Overall I think the presentation was relatively successful and the feedback we got suggested that we had thought about a good range of things in detail. Furthmore, I think throughout the project we've had a good level of communication across the board which allowed us to complete a lot of different aspects of the project such as a functioning website, showreel, and a range of branding across different platforms.
